Job description

We’re looking for a Head of People to join and grow our dynamic 55+ people team. We’re on a mission to become one of the top #25 third-party sellers on Amazon within the next 5 years. Currently, we are in the top #1000.


The Head of People will be responsible for directing and overseeing our People strategy in ways that support our mission and overall strategy.


This position has high accountability and reports directly to our Co-Founders. We want candidates who can prove they are leaders and strategic thinkers, effective people managers and problem-solvers. If you are all these, and you have a solid HR background, we want to talk to you.

Amongst many exciting challenges, you will:

  • Develop, and implement initiatives in all areas of HR (recruitment, benefits, learning and development projects) that meet the needs of our team

  • Lead the talent acquisition efforts including recruitment of critical C-Level positions - work closely with the rest of the team to build out and execute on a hiring roadmap

  • Understand, support and embody our company culture and pass along the organizational culture to employees

  • Coach and guide managers proactively to all things related to people in their teams including developing and retaining employees

  • Build and manage employee lifecycle and engagement - from recruitment, through onboarding, management, and offboarding

  • Implement and own HR and Payroll systems - leverage the data from these systems to make recommendations and quickly address weaknesses

  • Act as trusted advisor and business partner to our co-founders, including advising on complex people-related issues and executing business-driven human capital strategies

  • Assume responsibility of labor and employee relations

Job requirements

Do you have what it takes?

  • 5+ years of experience working in a people, business operations, or related role in a fast-paced and high-growth startup environment

  • Highly adaptable to change - we are growing fast and priorities are bound to evolve as we evolve

  • Passionate about putting people and culture at the center of the company’s strategy

  • You are amazing at finding and attracting exceptional candidates

  • High levels of EQ and strong communication/listening skills

  • You are a critical and analytical thinker who can offer actionable advice

  • You are highly collaborative, willing to roll up sleeves and wear many hats from strategic topics to executing
