Job description

We’re looking for a Business Development Analyst to join our dynamic 55+ people team. We’re on a mission to become one of the top #25 third-party sellers on Amazon within the next 5 years. Currently, we are in the top #1000.

Our goal is to acquire 4-6 Amazon 3P sellers (each with $1m+ in earnings) per month. You will be an integral part of the Acquisitions team by providing pre-acquisition support. You will be responsible for sourcing and identifying new qualified acquisitions opportunities for the Acquisitions team. The Business Development Analyst will act as the initial point of contact for potential sellers. This role will be primarily focused on researching and developing our outbound lead generation system, and performing outreach through email and social channels.

Amongst many exciting challenges, you will:

Sourcing & Deal Flow:

  • Sourcing and evaluating potential business owners through web and software research

  • Refining our outbound lead generation and closing system of potential acquisition targets through direct outreach (leveraging CRM software)

  • Promoting and marketing Benitago through extensive outreach emails and communication(s) to prospective sellers using email marketing systems

  • Maintaining all activities in CRM

Acquisitions Funnel:

  • Assessing a target acquisition’s competitive positioning, defensibility (i.e. moats) and potential risks from both a quantitative and qualitative perspective

  • Leading initial conversations and communications with business owners and working closely with other members of the Acquisitions team to move them through the acquisition funnel

Job requirements

Do you have what it takes?

  • 2+ years of sales or business development experience
  • Ability to assist in coordinating sales functions including prospecting and leads research
  • Experience with leading client / prospect communications and maintaining CRMs
  • General income statement knowledge (using Microsoft Excel)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (min. 3.7 GPA)
  • A highly organized self-starter who can manage multiple projects under aggressive deadlines with little oversight
